Default Trailer towing clutch setup

I recently did my first tow in the yard with my Bravo powered G1. This question can be answered for most all applications as well, I expect.
This was my first trailer load for judging weight, I want to move my 20' Glastron around the yard as well, it is about 2200#.

What my experience with this was once rolling and the RPM comes up a bit I could drive up hills at will. The issue I ran into was starting from a standstill up a hill. The clutch engages at to low an RPM to move forward.
My belt setup is good, the belt come right to the top of the secondary sheave and is wrapped tight around the primary so I should be getting as low a ratio as available. I am on 18" ATV tires that are providing great grip.

What I think my quandary is I need a higher engagement RPM for pulling a trailer but I am not sure that I want a high engagement for just driving about with a light load.
How have people set up their clutches for driving with a heavy load?
I fully expect I will need much better brakes as well but this will be one step at a time.
