Default Runs out of gas

I've got a Yamaha g23 umax. It will start and run about 20 sec.and cut off because there is no gas. Wait 10-15 min. and it will do the same thing. Changed carb. and fuel pump. checked fuel lines for blockage all check good. What could be causing the problem?

If you have changed the filter, new pump , and new carb.. There is nothing else except fuel lines..I'm sure the yamaha gurus will chime in soon.

no screen on pickup tube. tube is clean. If you diconnect the fuel line from carb. it will pump gas on the ground, like a champ.

I know you said you "changed the carb." but sure looks like the carb. is not accepting fuel. Inlet needle & seat clogged??

What if you spray fuel or starter fluid in carb does it run? If so then certainly a carb issue. But you could check for intake leaks too.

See "TCI“ (transistor controlled ignition) posts. Sounds all too familiar to me.
