SW202 Wiring Diagram
Upgrading F/R switch.
Thinking about using an SW202, but I have 3 microswitches on current F/R. I'd like to see a wiring diagram, before I decide whether to use SW202 or just go with upgraded F/R lever. |

Re: SW202 Wiring Diagram
None of them are really "necessary" with the SW202. The first switch is the Ant-Arcing micro switch. It's purpose is to remove voltage from the solenoid coil when you change directions. This keeps the F&R switch from creating an arc when the contacts come in contact with one another while you change directions. The 2nd switch is for the reverse buzzer. The 3rd switch is the half-speed reverse. Generally, when people install an SW202 they're not concerned with the buzzer or the half speed reverse. If you chose to keep the half speed reverse, you could use a double pole rocker switch with two rows of terminals. Use one row of terminals to control the SW202 and the other row in place of the half speed micro switch.
