Default 2011 EZGO RXV Build

Heres a little catch up from what I have done already. I acquired this RXV for cheap cheap and this is my first build for a golf cart. When I got the cart it was locked up and no batteries it was even missing the battery tray and had several broken wire. I grabbed a steel 6 -8 volt conversion tray from country cat and have it partially installed. I've also traced out and found all the broken wire needed to make the cart run, lots more 12v wires to figure out. So after I got the cart running I installed and 5in pro fit lift kit and a set of 23'' tires I had laying around..

Future.... Im looking to get more torque out of this cart and am looking to upgrade my danaher controller. possibly 350a Curtis or navitas or anything else that would be best. HELP her please. What is the best controller upgrade?

I did something similar recently.

I went Navitas 600amp TAC2.0 on the 2008 I redid. Against the advice of very knowledgable folks on this forum but, I live in Canada about a 55-minute drive away from the Navitas factory/HQ.

Even the stock 235 Amp Curtis out-Amps the Navitas. It takes some reprogramming to get it past the rest of the golf cart limitations put there by E-Z-GO.

Bob I’m looking to get a 350A and send it your way. I have found a place that sells refurbished ones for a decent price are those usually sufficient? Or do you know where a new one is that’s not 1500+? I have no issue using your tread to modify my harness. I’m looking to run a 23in tire this will be a yard or trail cart with pretty good hills I’m looking to hunt off of it abs ride it around my property.

I've seen those rebuilt prices as well. Just be sure to call to see if they really have one in stock. Many of those outfits are just resellers of Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP), the only factory authorized repar facility for Curtis controllers. FSIP is a good company, but it's hard for them to get rebuildable cores for the 350 Amp RXV controllers. They fail so rarely.

Either way for what I am wanting the 350a would give me better torque than a Navitas 600?

I’m looking a 480 plus 300 for a core charge because I don’t have a controller to send them

Tell them you want the half price core charge deal, $150 instead of $300.
