Why do my batteries run down to fast they are new and read 48, something across post

welcome to BGW .............you need to start with the basics are you letting the charger run until it shuts off? if not thats your problem........otherwise check all your cables and even though they are new test voltage of each one and load test each one if one is bad it will drag the whole pack down........................make sure everything is clean and tight.............and keep in mind theres a break in period for new batteries and its very important you break them in right.......................

How do i put a load check on them also i cleaned all connections and replaced all cables on batteries

Also how do i break in my batteries

you can load test them with a battery load tester or you can use a voltage meter......tape the meter probes to the proper terminals of battery and then with the cart up against a wall or tree or even driving hit your peddle and watch what the meter drops to and how it recovers....do this to each battery and write your #,s down post them if your not sure........as for break in just make sure you always let the charger finish once you plug it in and don,t run the batteries down much more than 50% do this for the 1st 15 to 12 charge cycles.............................
