It's toast. When you jump the black wire you're bypassing the internal charge circuit in the OBC. It's not allowing power through. But yes, you can charge it that way, but monitor it closely and make sure you use a heavy enough gauge wire as your jumper. 10 gauge is plenty. You can get an OBC from a site sponsor or a Club Car dealer.
