New Batteries $1500?????
Ok I'm just making sure I'm not about to screw the pouch on this one. But I just got quoted $161 per 6v US Battery i think the number is 145, its I think their highest 6v battery. I need 8, so is this the right ball park or do I need to look elsewhere. I haven't looked for Trojans as people on here claimed the us batteries were cheaper to get.

Re: New Batteries $1500?????
You can use 8 volts if your doing a 48 volt conversion. 8 six volters will get you more run time though...just depends on what your doing I guess. Just be aware of the mods needed to run 8 six volters before hand. 8 volt batts will be drop in...6 volts will need to find a place for the 2 extra batteries.

Check around. Also, let us know where you are located and someone can probably tell you a good place to purchase.

Re: New Batteries $1500?????
I'm in Jackson Mississippi, the Mecca of Nothingness. I doubt I've got a custom cart shop within 100 miles but I may be surprised. Also my cart is currently a rolling chassis I'm 100% doing 8-6v batteries. If I'm gonna bring back from the grave I'm gonna go all out.
I've heard interstate batteries are US batteries with a different sticker? Is this true? And are they cheaper? I mean I got the cart for $5 so 1500 in brand new batteries isn't the end of the world, but the less I spend here the more I get to on other stuff. |

Re: New Batteries $1500?????
My local carquest is around 103 each. Napa is close to that price. U.s battery here in Memphis without discount is around 95 each. I have no clue off the top of my.head on run time on these batteries. I always wind up purchasing the us2000 for my customers, of course.they want the.cheapest stuff.there is when it comes to batteries, but ive had no complaints on them and they hold up for golf pretty well on the local courses.
