Can the original brakes on Mlex be replace by another braking system? Looking for ideas on this issues Cart still runs good.
I also have issues when pushing down on gas paddle motor quits until I ease up on pedal this a electric cart. Thanks |

a little more info would be good. year and model. as far as the brakes go, if you get some spec on the sizes drum diameter and width. you could use that to see what shoes would work. you could also build your own disc brake kit. there is a thread in the design center on using junkyard parts to make a disc brake set up. [ i am going this route on one cart soon.]
as far as the accelerator pedal goes, if it's a swipe board system, you could have a bad peg or connection causing the issue. (if so equipped) once you get the info for the cart posted, we can help you out a little more with this one. good luck Arin |

I'm willing to bet that Ezgo brake shoes of the same year will fit.

It`s a late model 412 maybe 1997. Has Bendix brake assembly. (evparts.com) has a whole backing plate with brakes and hardware a retrofit for 412 and 512 model part #BX1130 not sure if it would work? any ideas? Thanks
