![]() There is another Amazon canvas top that I have seen some people with. It attaches to its frame with paracord or something. I liked this because I think the edge to edge coverage of the top looks much better.
Even if the frame was stronger, it is slightly arched, so a rack would not attach anyway. |

![]() That’s what I figured, don’t mind reinforcing some holes for the rack to fit, but I’m still on the search for something acceptable for our use. Still want good oooks but need the utilitarian part. Looking at under 48” wide and around 70” long type of rack, I’ll skin the bottom so it will be a shade cover too.

![]() It is far from inexpensive, but the Modz Tower Top is really the only commercially available product that looks like it could support any weight. Even then, it is just thin walled tube, but the geometry suggests it could work.

![]() That does look nice but a big ouch on the price. I have a factory rollbar so something needs to be fabricated which is t a problem.

![]() I had a quiet day at the house on Saturday, so I started working on the sub enclosure. It is designed to fit in the forward open battery space (thanks again lithium battery!).
I am running a cheap 10" Kicker sub, mainly because I already have an amp that perfectly matches in power. If either is not doing the job, I will just upgrade both, but I have a feeling it will be sufficient for the cart. I had to cut in a notch to clear the f/r rod. Not that big of a deal, just a little more work. I considered making it a 'truck' style enclosure that is more of a wedge shape, but I was hoping to use the larger flat top as a mounting point for the amp. Not pictured is the enclosure completely closed in and sealed up. Last to do is sand it down, add the speaker wire, and then coat it. Likely just going to use a spray-on bedliner style of coating for simplicity. It will be waterproof and quick and easy. |

![]() Managed to get it sanded last night. Will hopefully get a coat of bedliner on it this evening. The weather is pretty bad, so it will likely take a few days to get that completed.

![]() As for carrying weight on the cart roof, I maintained a fleet of Soccer carts years ago. These carts were mostly Ezgo Workhorses fitted with roof racks. Every one of them needed repairs and additional bracing as the mounting points would break at the frame.
