![]() A brief description of wheels that work on carts. i'm not getting into the obvious cart rims like factory ones or ITPs and other aftermarket made for carts.
Golf Cart lug pattern, it's 4 on 4", or 4 on 101.6mm. Ezgo & Club Car use 1/2"-20 studs, Yamaha uses metric studs. Polaris has the only 4wheeler/quad/atv wheel that will bolt right on a cart. Many models had/have the 4 on 4" bolt pattern rear wheels. These wheels have a great negitive offset and often eliminate the need for spacers/lug extenders. There are a few car rims that carry the 4 on 4" lug pattern. Austin-Healey Sprite Crosley - all '39-'52 MG Midget Jensen Healey Opel Manta, Kadette, GT GM L-body Buick Skyhawk '75-'81 Chevrolet Vega, Monza '71-'81 Pontiac Sunbird, Astre '76-'81 Oldsmobile Starfire '75-'81 The Honda and other rims that will work are 4 on 100mm, it's a little off but can be made to work if your set on doing that, its still not an exact fit. You can do a goggle search on lug patterns and you can find which cars have the 4/100. There is still the matter of offset/backspacing with any of the car rims. |
