high speed motor
I have a '94 ezgo medalist, it has a alltrax 300dcs controller,
Can I use this controller with an upgraded high speed motor? And would I have to replace the factory solenoid? |

Re: high speed motor
The 300 dcx is not well suited to big upgrade motors, too little power. Some even say "for stock motors only".

Re: high speed motor
That's right - It's designed for stock replacement, as in - for the game of golf. Alltrax doesn't recommend it for big tires, rear seats, and you guessed it - aftermarket motors.
Generally speaking any aftermarket motor will do best on 500 amps minimum. |

Re: high speed motor
