Switching out seats

Hi, I want to switch out the front seat back from my ‘84 Club car from the two backrests to the single style. Can I just get the single backrest or do I need to change out anything else? I also want to add a rear seat if that makes any different to what I need to buy. First time modifying a cart so learning on the go. Thanks!

If you’re getting a rear set you can get the later style kit and use a newer front seat backrest, but you’d need different roof struts if you’re using an old style top.

The one piece seat back doesn’t just bolt on unfortunately.

If you buy a rear seat kit for a 2000.5 and up DS it will come with the correct seat brackets to mount the single peice seat back.
There is a difference in the roof struts and the roof, so You will have to fabricate some way to attach the roof, but that’s not too difficult with a little imagination.
