Default RXV to fast?

My wholesaler had this random 2017 lithium hit their lot and made me a good deal on it.

I'm guessing it's an Elite but it just has standard badges on it.

My question is, how fast are these normally? Right now in stock form it breaks the tires loose and throws you back and gets to 28 MPH all most instantly. Its FAST. If the ground is damp or your on an incline it will literally smoke the tires.

I plan on keeping the cart for myself but I'm kind of worried that when I swap to 14" wheels with 225/30/14 tires it's going to hit 31-33 MPH. The 14s are a 7" wide wheel so they will be more stable. I also plan to run 1" wheel spacers to widen the track some.

Will this be enough? Do I need to add brakes or consider turning it down?

I kinda like it but I'm also worried when others drive it they may hurt someone.

First question is "what did they do?". Gears? Controller tweaks?

Speed can be dialed-down in the controller, but why is it so fast now?

That thing is a death trap and you should get rid of it immediately. Because I’m so nice, I’ll take that widow maker off your hands and give you my 2016 S4 so you’ll still have a cart to get around on bu it’ll be slower and safer

I'm not sure and my rep wasn't sure where it came from. They buy hundreds of carts a month from all over the country.

I thought it was odd that it did not have a single Elite marking or badge.

That sounds like one I did a few months ago for a dealer in Georgia. It was all done in programming...

Since he didn't respond to you I will.

I think he considers it res judicata and he will be keeping it.

He expressed concern that nobody would want to buy it with it only going 15 MPH. He asked if I could speed it up. Mission accomplished.
