Guessing at about 14,000, maybe a little less the way it sits now. Loaded.

I go to Talladega twice a year since 1995. Lots of pics back to 2001 here.

No problem, glad to help. I was going to get some pics, but it was dark by the time I got home and the headlights were not helpful.

Vponder (Vince),
Last time I was in Douglas a machine shop there was doing what you need, they were replacing a camper bumper with a heavier one so the customer could pull his boat. From what I could tell, the frames on these campers are pretty crappy, lightweight and really not meant for towing, they'll need to beef this up to handle a heavier bumper and hitch.

I'd think Bennett's Machine by the Police department, Jones Machine out 122 past the Golf Course or C & S Machine by Cleaver-Brooks would all be move than capable of handling the job.

Thanks for the link Gorno. Doesn't really matter to me, but I'm sure it will help alot of others.

Go to the far right and find reciprocity, means if your state allows, then any state you travel through should also. I'm sure though that most local badged morons will not know that.

I will more than likely use Bennett's since its near the PD where I work they did some work on a new mower that I got had to have a brackets made to tow a Cyclone Rake vacum unit. I guess since you know the areas machine shops you must be close to the Rose City.VP

Some of the troopers know the deal. A friend double towing two new boats in Al was required to cut one loose on the side of the highway. They would not let him proceed to the next exit which was in sight. He was far below his towing capacity.
