Re: 91 EZGO won't go, Where & how to look
No, it's not firing and the spark plug isn't wet after running the starter for several long sessions. I think I'll see if I can clean the carb a little and see what happens. Any thing else I should be looking at.

Re: 91 EZGO won't go, Where & how to look
SO IT IS NOT FIRING... Theres a start.. After cleaning the carb., do a conn. chech to make sure that all the components on the coil and iginter have good clean conn.. Specifically check all ground conn.... After that find the tech section and get the ohm values for the pulsar coil to make sure the pulsar coil is good... The other things that are possible are the coil and the igniter but I'm not aware of any way to check them other than finding one to try out!! Hope this helps...

Does it have spark or not? If it does give it a shot of carb cleaner and see if it runs. If it does you have a fuel problem. If it doesn't something else is wrong.

Re: 91 EZGO won't go, Where & how to look
I cleaned the carb, dumped the old gas, replace the fuel filters and now it at least starts. It runs poorly up a slight incline, but OK on the flats, so the carb probably need to now be adjusted. I would appreciate any pointers.
Thanks, Mike |
