48 volt pds controller 36 volt pds motor
I have a 07 workhorse with a 48 volt pds II system. It comes stock with a 48volt 400 amp controller I am thinking about putting a 36 volt PDS motor in it for two reasons, first is the motor is free and second is I have read on here several times where it has been done with aftermarket 400 amp controllers. I can get a 500 amp controller, but I would think the 400 amp should be fine. Am I right in my thinking? The reason for 36 volt motor is when I got the cart the motor was missing.
Sorry for the long winded question, but this is my first build. Any info is much appreciated. |
