Default Which tires are best for the street

I’m going to get the wife some new wheels and tires for Christmas. The ones on the cart are pretty dry rotted. They are 23/10.5/12 the cart has always been a little squirrelly over 20 mph. It’s a club car ds with a lift. What would be the best tire for asphalt driving ? I’m going to get her something in a 14”. Thanks

Talking Re: Which tires are best for the street

If it's main job is road driving get a nice set of road tires.

Duh! Street tires of course. Jk. I have heard that putting "street tires" on a cart like you would use on you car will last for ever. So if you are going with 14s and that statement is true, it sure opens up a whole lot of selections. Just a thought for ya. Happy hunting on the right tire for your cart.

I bought a set of 14” rims with 20x8.50-14 tires. I hate them the cart looks really goofy with those tires on it. I think I’m gonna send em back and get the off-road tires . Looks win out over how it drives 😂

Thumbs up Re: Which tires are best for the street

I want 2 Vampires 15" wheels with 205/35R15 tires. to go on the back of the little red coupe but I don't want to spend $500.00 on them.

Those almost look like a desert type tread. A lot of people run a desert tire for on road they last pretty good and smoother while still looking off road and able to do ok off road. They are very low profile, which is not ideal off road if you hit a rock or something. They sure look good in the photo lol.
