Starter brushes club car
Has anyone changed out the starter brushes on a club car. (95)
I have the service manual, but scared I'll open up a can of worms. |

Re: Starter brushes club car
No big "can of worms here", (sorry!) The big problem (i'm sorry to say) with Clubcar is they don't put a good tensionor assembly for the adjustment of the belt. Removing and disassembly and replacing brushes takes less than 1/2 hour (be shure to clean the commutater with emerary cloth "were the brushes ride" and if any sections are damaged--or if the groves between the sections are damaged---you'll need a new armature). Please.....When you clean or blow out the dust......do it out side and don't breath that stuff ! IT"S NASTY ! Good luck Dave
