B&S Vanguard 23 upgrade
So I went with a B&S 23 hp twin for my 1989 Club Car. Installed the high rev kit. Now the engine bogs down whenever I give it gas.Is Is this the usual for this engine with this upgrade? The engine is new and did not do this prior to the upgrade. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like something got connected incorrectly when you reassembled the engine. Vacuum line comes to mind.

I know on mine, there is a large vacuum tube at the top of the carb. It was plugged with a rubber cap out of the box when new. I left that cap on thinking it was supposed to be there. Couldn't find anything about it. Wouldn't run well at all. I removed that cap and it ran perfect.
