That stinks. I bought the Bosch cells you show but in a 5S config for my boy's Power Wheels from ebay and they delivered via FedEx. Could be they didn't tell FedEx what was in the box???
These cells should not be charged beyond 4.15vpc. 4.10 to 4.12 is better. So a 12S charger preset to stop at 49.2 is good. I went with a 14S so my system is different, but I picked up a Meanwell charger for under a hundred bucks. It's only 5 amps, but that's fine for an onboard charger. The lithium chemistry doesn't care if it's charged slowly. |
