Really long shifter cable
I have a 96 DS that has been stretched to a villager 8. The shifter cable broke so I figured a villager 8 cable would work, but it’s a little too long and the trans side connections are incompatible. What I need is a cable that looks just like the stock DS cable but that is approximately 127” long. Any help or info is greatly appreciated!

Re: Really long shifter cable
There are several long shift cables available from Club Car. Check with David Hicks a Revolution Golf Carts and he can get you one that is closest to the length you need.
The Club car cables are much better quality than aftermarket versions and will last much longer and operate much smoother. The Club car cables do not come new with the ends, and they must be ordered separately. The end attachment on the shift arm should be a ball stud type. If it is not you should also order a new ball stud to screw into the shifter arm. |
