Wiring reversed, means what?
As determined, my alltrax controller went out on my club car IQ.
In replacing it with another one, I see where the A2 of the motor was hooked to the M- of controller. The A1 of the motor was hooked to the B+ of the controller with the battery + from the solenoid being hooked to B+ of controller. F2 of motor hooked to F2 of controller, and F1 of motor hooked to F1 of controller. I've been running it like this for 3 plus years. It will reverse direction. (swapping either A1 and A2 or F1 and F2) My new motor went backwards with the connections the way they were labeled so I just swapped F1 and F2.

Yes, simply swap F1 and F2 wherever they are easiest to reach, at the motor or at the control. Be sure to put run/tow switch in tow beforehand.

I hooked the reverse buzzer back up. This is s hunting cart. It still continuously buzzes either in reverse, forward, neutral. It buzzes on, off, on, off, like it's giving codes. What's up with this? God Bless, David B. |

It had an alltrax dcx 600 that went bad after I charged the cart. Replaced it with an alltrax xct 48500iq. Buzzer was doing same thing with controller which was bad, as it is now. I never noticed it though, due to being unhooked.
Cart seems to be driving fine though. No condensation on the three blades of switch, or the three prong plug. God Bless, David B. |
