23hp Vanguard for sale
Hey everyone. I'm throwing this out there to see if anyone has interest. I'm selling my 23hp Briggs Vanguard engine, complete with Mikuni VM32 setup from Backwater Performance. It has less than 50 hours of run time on the engine itself, and less than 10 hours on the carburetor.
It's a monster. I'm not going to lie. It's just too much for me. I find that I don't want to use the cart with this engine because it peels grass too much and the kids and wife don't want to drive it at all. So, I'm putting the stock 16hp Vanguard in there. The engine is stock with governor intact, but the external linkages removed. It's never been driven by anyone but me, never over revved. This engine has never been opened up. Charging system works great. Fires right up and runs fantastic. LOTS of power! Paid: Engine $950 Model # 386447-0129-01 Backwater Performance Carb Setup $650 complete CPP Cam $270 (not installed) CPP Rev Kit $100 (not installed) Total invested: $1970 I'd be willing to take a reasonable offer. I'll ship it, but the buyer will pay actual shipping plus a $65 crating fee. Shipping will be at least $100 based on past engines I've shipped, probably a little more, based on weight and distance. I'd also be willing to sell the engine only, then sell the parts separately. Let me know if you are interested.
