Lost power after bump
Hi All,
New here and thought i'd poll the audience for thoughts on where to start my troubleshooting. Yesterday I was driving my gas ezgo and hit a bump in the road which caused me to lose power. There is a small amount of "go" (maybe a foot a minute and no uphill torque). I can hear the engine running but no movement for the cart. The drive belt is intact but it appears to be undertensioned. Maybe it lost tension? Would appreciate your thoughts and, hopefully, avoiding a trip to the service center. |

Re: Lost power after bump
I take it the motor is reaching normal rpm? if so check for a stripped brake hub, pull the grease cup and see if the axle castle nut is spinning but the wheel not... start with the drivers side.

Re: Lost power after bump
Is the drive clutch tightening down on the belt when you give it throttle?
