Default Alltrax upgrade problem

After a recent install of the Alltrax XCT500PDS I now have a decrease in torque and speed. Here are specs on the cart in question.
Ezgo TXT PDS

White Rogers 400 amp solenoid 48v model # 586 120111
Stock Curtis PMC controller P/N 73326G07
Advanced D.C. motor 36 volt P/N DE2-4007 Rating AU2500 FLT SPD 01/09/04
US2200 6 volt batteries approximately 6 months old with 4 gauge cables
Cart has a 6 inch lift with 22 x 11.00 - 10 tires
36 volt system

The cart went from an average speed of 16 mph with the above stock controller to an average speed of 8 mph with the Alltrax. This is a constant in both forward and reverse and switching the F1 and F2 cable only change the direction of the F/R selector. Take note that a Alltrax FNKYS selector is installed but has no change to performance. Battery pack has a resting charge of 38.5 indicated by on board meter.
Attached are the throttle settings and control settings.

In the picture the max speed is set to 2000 rpms. For max speed set max rpm to 6000.
Be sure the Motor speed sensor wire is plugged into C5 correctly (clips line up) and fully engaged. The same is true for the FNKS. It is possible to mix these 2 up. See the operator manual for proper placement.

Scotty you called it! My buddy who is helping me install the controller had wired the function switch and C5 backwards. He said he had done this before, he just never said if he had done it correctly or not! The limits you had set in the controller were all correct, and I appreciate your help and how fast you got it sent out.
Thank you sir, I'll definitely be ordering more from you in the near future.

Glad I could help.
Tell your friend he's not the only one to ever do that... it happens.
