Default 05 DS in limp mode.

05 DS. 48v IQ. I have determined the speed sensor has gone out. Will it damage anything if it is run in limp mode until I get a new sensor? Had to replace the controller not long ago and don't want to damage it.

. . . nope . . . it's just that with bad speed sensor, controller defaults to about 8mph for safety . . .
