Unhook the gray sense lead wire leave the fuse in the side going to receptacle alligator clip 10g wire to fuse to 48-
Monitor charger to 0-5 amps then unhook. It won't shut off on its own. This will keep you charged until u get dpi Make sure u buy the dpi with obc removed |

Re: Cart won't charge after new controller install (DCX400)??
Cart receptacle backside has 3 wires + - & gray wire with a yellow coupler with a 3/8a fuse in it. Separate coupler leave fuse in the coupler closest to receptacle. Now connect that to 48v-. I use a jumper with alligator clips.
The charger should charge now. |

Once the current drops down to 4 or 5 amps let it charge for a hour or so longer.

Re: Cart won't charge after new controller install (DCX400)??
Let it go to 51v or so if u have a meter to monitor
If it's been a while at 49 u probably have a bad cell. 48 is like 50% so u can look at charts on here and see what 49 is. If u get 50.3 after rest it's 100%. |
