Default Want Speakers on my 2010 EZGO RXV

I am looking for speakers to add to my cart. I don't need wetsounds, just something that will fit up top and sound good. Bluetooth is how I want to send the music.

Are you looking for speakers and pods or just the speakers? Any speaker with a rubber surround will work just fine. The foam surround will dry rot and crack a lot easier.

You can make some cheap pods for a 6 1/2" speaker using a sch40 6" pvc pipe cap. It is thick enough that the speaker can be screwed right in to the lip.

I'm not advanced so I have no idea what you are referring to.

1) Please use "Marine" or outdoor rated speakers. (Available at boating/sporting goods outlets)
2) RXV speakers can be mounted in the outer wall of "glove compartments". This protects them and provides good sound.

Good Luck !!!
Keep us posted !!!

Adding to this post...

Does anyone know if they make speaker pods for RXV's that mount below the cubby holes? They make them for TXT's but haven't been successful in finding them for RXV's. The only ones I've been able to find for RXV is the ones that mount in the cubby holes and I don't want to lose storage.

You can mount speakers in the outside wall of cubby.

Just enough room between cubby outer wall and body for speaker magnet.
You only loose a small amount of space where grill protrudes into cubby.

Just thought about your post... That would work.
Easiest way to do radio install "IMHO" is to just go ahead and remove the nose on an RXV.

You will need a T-45 and a T-27 if i remember correctly.

Remove black plastic runners on sides of cart, remove T-45's holding side
of nose piece.

Remove T-27's under the top lip of dash. (use care not to drop and scratch nose piece when removing last few screws).

Then you can run wires easily and drill mounting holes for speakers .

I will try to post pics tomorrow.

Others will have ideas on easy ways to do stuff--- We usually do radio installs
with custom builds, so we do radio install BEFORE we put body on
