2001 Club Car DS lift question
Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and have a lift question......
I am wanting to put 12 inch rims/tires with a Jakes 6 inch spindle lift.......for those of you that have done this or have experience with it, do I need to get all new leaf springs, shocks, bushings etc too or does the kit come with everything needed? Also, does anyone have a suggestion for where I can get the best deal on a front cowl replacement. I am going to have it painted so it doesn't have to be brand new just in decent condition. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated |

Re: 2001 Club Car DS lift question
should come with everything you need. if your cart is stock height now you will have to put the rear axle under the springs. it is on top of them now. the only problem i had was getting the bolts out of the spring bushings to do this. lots of penetrating spray and an air chisel. after that it was a walk in the park.

Re: 2001 Club Car DS lift question
If you run 23" or larger tires you will need an offset plate which moves the front end forward for clearance.
