Default 36v-60v converter to 12v - help?

I am in the middle of installing a reducer.

it is labeled:

36v to 60v Input:

Red + ... Blue - ... Orange lock

12v Output:

Yellow + ... Black -

I wired it:

Red to + pack ... Blue to - pack Orange to + pack

Yellow + to toggle switch then on to + on fuse box...
Black to - on fuse box

It doesn't work... I put the DVM to the Yellow get 0 - no reading.

I might be wrong in my thoughts but I put the DVM on + pack and - fuse box and get pack voltage.... SO why won't + come through?

Does the Orange need to be some where else? (capped doesn't change anything) I thought it was to go to the key so putting to to + would just keep it on then I would use the toggle to turn on fuse box so I wouldn't have to tear into the dash....

Any ideas or direction? (a 4-wire converter might be in my future!!!)

Lock is Chinese for key.

The orange must be powered (normally from key) to work.

The inline switch is not needed.

Check the fuse on the red wire.

Also, even if don't want to use the key switch, put the toggle switch on the orange wire to control the 12v output as it requires low current.

I have this same reducer, how has it been working? Did you do anything special with the install?
