Default 04 iq 48 volt brakes grab and Viktor meter stays at full charge

Picked up a 04 club car iq cart. Brakes were working great then all of a sudden they started to grab or shift after a couple days. It has a lift kit on it. What would be causing this and also what are the wires that go to the back of the brake pedal?

Also my meter reads one bar at the highest position and does not go down.

You are probably experiencing an axle "twist".

Make sure the U-Bolts that hold the rear axle to the leaf springs are properly torqued or the axle will rotate or "twist", which causes the brake cable to get tight and engage the brake.

You can sometimes feel the brake pedal "pulsate" as the brake cable goes from relaxed to tight.

The wires going to the brake pedal are for the brake light switch built in into the rubber brake pedal pad.
