Re: I need help with obc bypass and new batteries....
At 49.5 volts for some reason your not getting a full charge on those batteries. Take a reading of all 6 batteries and post it back here.

The charger isn't putting a full charge into your batteries. When you have time to watch the meter on your cart plug the charger back in. Watch it climb and see how high it takes it before it shuts off. I don't know if it is putting any charge into your pack or not. I got to go for awhile someone else probably will chime in to help.

The charger LEDs flashing are fault codes. We need to know which LED is flashing. You will see the Charge error codes in your owners manual page 10-11

I just went out to try to move it and it will not go. It 'bucks'. I plugged the charger back in and only the power flashes. Short of batteries the only change is the obc bypass I did by the directions posted.

According the dpi this indicates charge level unbalanced. They are brand new batteries

Re: I need help with obc bypass and new batteries....
Something just does not add up as in your original post you said you installed new batteries and the voltage was 47.5 volts? That is DEAD or roughly 35 % state of charge! Now after charging your only reading 49 volts? That's barely 65 % SOC.... You really should take readings of each battery one at a time and record them. Then take a reading from your main pack (-) and record a reading at each next (+) terminal. If you don't have a defective battery perhaps you hooked up the connections wrong. All connections should go (-) to (+) to (-) to (+) and on down the line. Where did you hook up your red charging lead? Where did you hook up your black charging lead?

Is it possible the way I bypassed the obc is causing this????? I followed directions that someone else did but maybe it is wrong. I cut the negative from the charge receptacle and ran it to the negative battery pack. The disconnected the yellow wire from the solenoid and ran a new wire from that post to the negative battery pack
