While I have not programmed one that was stand alone, should not be a problem. Would just have to feed it 48v and it should work.
I recall that there are places you can rent the programmer. Would be a lot easier than removing the 1268 and shipping. I really like the 2 Modes. I have one that is higher torque for starting on hills and use on the golf course. Max speed is 28 to 30mph. Mode 2 is less torque and Max speed on the flat is 38mph. Gets scary at that fast a speed! I have regen turned off in both modes. I have never liked regen. YMMV. |

Yeah I truly don't know anymore but would like to be able to test the regen feature just for coming down some of the paved hills in our HOA as they are STEEP and I have to really stand on the brakes to come down nice and slow. I have a set of hyd front disk brakes I need to get off my butt and finish fabbing up...
