Default RXV 9 Pin Connector

2008 E-Z-GO RXV. Does anyone know if the 9 pin connector that is under the cup holder on the RXV was put there by E-Z-GO as part of the wiring or is it part of the aftermarket wiring harness I have?
Thanks,
hms09

It is the factory diagnostic port, and the loop back plug that should be in it is a run / kill plug.

Thanks Isaac-1. I was hoping I could plug in a turn signal kit there. That's a no go I guess?

Thanks,

Not Unless you find a turn signal kit that supports Canbus.. Lol.. (JK, there's no such thing). If you have real Ezgo light kit, you should have a plug under the cup holder with a jumper on it with a bunch of Grey wires, that's where a turn signal would plug. If your light kit is not from ezgo, best of luck.

Well, I know it can be done. This unit controls lights, horn and signals. Thing is the cart builder did it so I can't give you details. I think it is a Madjax unit. I know it gets it's power from a Madjax converter. All the lights are LED.

I installed the MadJax LED deluxe light kit on my 2009 RXV. It included. brake lights, turns, horn, etc. It came with everything needed. Just had to run the power and ground back to the convertor. I went with the factory 48V-12V convertor. All other wiring and plugs were in the kit. I did while I had the body off for painting so running the wires was pretty easy.
