Re: need a new controller
I second that motion. Get Alltrax controller. Very flexible and you are not limited to the behavior of a stock one.

Re: need a new controller
Is it a plug and play type deal? I noticed there are different amps for the controller, what is the standard amp for my buggy? Thanks

Mechanically, you have to use and adapter to mount an XCT to the stock heatsink and you have to relocate the Run/Tow switch, however with there is a solenoid mounting kit that has a hole in it for the R/T switch. With the mounting adapter for the controller and the solenoid bracket with the hole for the R/T switch, it is a simple install. A stock 36V PDS controller is 300A and a stock 36V PDS motor can tolerate about 400A, so go with a XCT48400PDS (400A) or XCT500PDS (500A) and turn it down to 400A. |

When you buy from scottyb he will see you detailed instructions and be there for any questions you have. It pretty straightforward just mark your cables and take your time. Scotty has the best customer service I've seen in a long time.
