Re: 2002 club car DS just up and quit
Following. Sergio is right about the OBC lockout.. FYI, an MCOR problem wouldn't keep the buzzer from working.

Re: 2002 club car DS just up and quit
It is possible to use the OBC just for charging since those are separate functions inside the OBC.
In that case you would just cut the Blue wire on the OBC side of the connector and splice the wire side going to the 6-pin connector with the white wire. You would not cut the white wire in that case since the OBC would still need it. |

Re: 2002 club car DS just up and quit
The Blue wire from the OBC to the connector gets cut.
The side of the Blue wire that goes into the OBC just gets taped as it will not be used. The other side of the Blue wire that goes to the connector gets spliced with the White wire without cutting the White wire. That will by-pass the OBC controller lockout, the function that prevents the cart from driving while the charger is plugged, but allows the OBC to continue to charge if that function still works. It is recommended in this case to loop the charger cord through the steering wheel to remind you not to drive away with the charger plugged. |

thanks for all the help everybody it turned out to be a bad battery cable the main red positive cable if you moved it about half way down the cable the cart would come back to life

Re: 2002 club car DS just up and quit
well ended up bypassing the obc and the cart moves again only problem and it doesn't do it all the time when you go full throttle it lays down just for a couple of seconds and then takes off
now if you ease into it the cart runs fine but if you lay into it right before full throttle it slowes down a little leave up on the pedal and hit it again and its fine |
