Re: 1997 club car 48 volt wont run
I just upgraded my 97 power drive plus. If you need a stock controller or motor let me know. They worked when I pulled them off.

Re: 1997 club car 48 volt wont run
You could put the rear end on jack stands. Have someone press the go pedal and see if you are getting voltage to the motor with a multimeter. No juice to the motor, look at the controller, Juice to the motor but no turn check the motor. It may be something simple as a stuck brush.
I'd believe that you have pushed it around by hand so the motor is not locked up and the brakes aren't stuck... |

hope its simple..lol ..650$ for batteries..almost 300 for obc..new solenoids. not wanting to dump another 450 to 650 for a motor.. p.s did volt test getting 51.6 volts on controller.. and motor turns free.. the only things I haven't replaced are the ignition switch..forward reverse switch..and potentiometer.. oh and controller and motor...everything has proper voltage and current..
