I replaced the solenoid before I replaced the controller, so I did some testing with this solenoid before getting the new controller. If I let the cart sit for a while it will drive good again for a little while then go into limp mode

I had this same problem on my cart a while back. Since the solenoid was pretty new, I thought that it could not be the problem. Yet the error message was "main welded".
I replaced the solenoid and have not had the cart go into "limp mode" since. |

Unhook the two wire connector on the MCOR then check to see if you still get main welded. I think if that switch sticks it will give that code.
