Total Charge III humming all the time
For my 91 Marathon, my total charge 3 doesn't ever seem to turn off. It is constantly humming when the AC plug is plugged into the wall. When I plug it up the the golf cart, it shows 20 amps on the charge, so I have reason to believe that it is working, but not sensing a low voltage when unplugged? Can anyone speculate what could be wrong here?

Somebody has probably bypassed the relay in the charger to force it to run. The control board is probably bad, and the relay may be wired wrong too.
Be careful using a charger that stays on- you will ruin a pack of batteries very very fast! Luke Club Car DS Driver’s Club #59  |
