95 club car
some times when I push down on the accelerator pedal it does nothing , I have to push down several times for it to take off or while im going it will just stop,is there a switch some where that's going bad? I just purchased it and trying to figure it out

Welcome! Does your 95 still have it's original drive system? If so, it is not too hard to troubleshoot. Post a couple of pics of it if you are not sure so folks here can point you in the right direction.

also include what volts it has 36v or 48v

its a 48 volt and the drive system is original,

There is a micro switch in the v-glide (#20)
also the wiper switch (#18 ) should make contact cleanly with the contacts there is a wear mark on the brush that needs to be checked be sure the brush bar spring (#13) is working properly |

That is a diagram of a multi-step potentiometer (V-glide). It's found between the batteries, mounted on the frame rail under the drivers seat.

I located it and pulled off the side cover that exposed the slide bar , I can see where it has been riding on it , I couldn't find a kill switch so im guessing unhooking the batteries is the way to work on this ?
