Used cart, how to make it ride like new?
I recently bought a 2013 Precedent. Body and everything is in great shape, but I can be picky.
If I wanted the ride to be as close to "new" as I could get it, what should I replace, fix, grease? The front end currently has some squeeks and an occasional clunk in the suspension that I would like to get rid of. |

Buy or download an owners manual for that model and start with the factory recommendations.

Jack Daniels,
You can mess with replacing certain aspects of the suspension to improve the ride. Frankly, it was designed to ride on a course and not the street, so getting that perfect ride can be difficult. Proper grease and new suspension components will help. The servicing aspects that will have the greatest aspects will be a well aligned front end and proper PSI in the tires. In addition, getting tires/wheels with more profile on them will also help significantly. Hope this helps. |

2013? That bugger is still pretty new. Unless it's been beat on I would think any suspension upgrades would be of nominal value as the original stuff can't be all that degraded yet. Personally, I would let well enough alone. Heck, monkeying with it may mess something up that was otherwise ok.

Good bushings, good shocks, and proper wheel alignment are crucial. As long as your springs aren't sagging they should be fine. If the cart sits level that's a good indication that your springs are ok. If you address all of these issues it should drive like a new one.
