Default Older 48v Club Car Motor Question

I have an older 48v Club Car which has had an intermittent running condition.
Batteries up to full charge has now died, will not run.
I decided to test the motor, have read about A1 to S1 etc. except my motor only has two terminals plus three small wires coming out the back. I can find any info on testing this motor. I don't measure any continuity between large terminals. motor p/n 5bc59jbs6251A. looking for info on this motor
thanks
Fred

It can not be too old if its a 48v cart. What is the year and/or the serial #? (found under the right side of the dash)

And are you sure you are not missing the A1/A2 or F1/F2 studs that are rolled around out of your line of sight? It sure sounds like this may be a sepex motor and that is the speed sensor wires you are seeing. (A picture will also help us greatly with advising you)

well, you are correct other terminals are out of sight on the top i can feel them but can't see them lol working from below due to above being covered by cargo holder.
Found s/n A9634-519658 Would like to bypass controller and test with a battery
Maybe there is a trouble shooting procedure published some place
I am on a island no service establishments here.

The F's are in place of the S's.

Use this as a guide for your type motor (since it is a '96 and you have a pigtail on the end of the motor I suspect you have a Regen 1 cart)
