Orangeman6, Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that a diagram for a shunt cart that you posted?

When I upgraded to SR48500 which is similar to your unit, I noticed that there was a discrepancy on the manual provided by Alltrax. It was the A1 / A2 to M1 connection. The diagram shows A1 to M1, but the instructions said A2 to M1. I recall the correct connection should be A2 to M1 and A1 to C on F/R.

The keyswitch power comes from the battery pack B+ at either the charge receptacle (red/wht) or from the main B+ battery post through the F&R micro switch on the driver's side. Cart must be in gear to send power to the switch

Alternatively! The power comes from the small red wire on the solenoid with the battery B+ cable. This is true when you have 3 small red wires and one has a ring terminal big enough to go on the big soelnoid post... be sure to put it on the battery side - not the controller side.

Don't replace the reed switch. Just bypass it.
