Admiral retains regen braking.

I wonder why people pay big money for custom motors that require the regen and turbo to be turned off in the controller.

My buddy has an A2 that retains regen and he loves it on his hunting cart. He likes the idea of using less braking when he's toting heavy loads. I think I'm going that direction with a Redhawk

I just built a 07 PDS for friends. They have a hilly property so I went XCT400 MOT-A2 48v and the cart is a beast off the road and 25 mph on road..... with little 20" knobbie tires.

Went with a b2 from Dave at revolution. Here's some results with the dcx600 and the admiral b2 on a 12 mile run on dirt, pavement, and up and down on long steep hills. My cart is still running 36v,with interstates and 2ga soldered lugs.

The DCX controller does not RPM limit the motor, so be careful going downhill with pedal on the floor, especially if you up the pack voltage.

I'm not sure what the max recommended RPM is for your motor, but it's likely to be either 6000RPM or 6500RPM.

With 22" tires and 12.44:1 gears:
6000RPM = 31.6MPH
6500RPM = 34.2MPH
