Default ScottyB CartsUnlimited upgrade Q&A

I ordered the car kit that says is capable of running 36v and 48v. I actually ordered the kit with my 36v system in mind. My question is, what would be needed to do to run it on 48v other than batteries and charger? Will the solenoid that come with kit handle both?

If ScottyB says it'll handle 48V then it'll handle 48V. All you need is batteries and a charger. I have his 500A kit on my 90 DS (36V). Looking forward to the day when the 36V power pack needs changing. It's then Trojan T-875's for me.

You also need to change the resistor. Scotty has them on his site if you don't have it already. His solenoid section on his website has the information.
