Thank you both! Yes Yurtle made a quick drop in before you JohnnieB. So if the contactors do not show any sign of heat or melting, the switch should be good. Unless micro-switches have failed.

Really appreciate the time to respond and help with this. Look forward to future discussions!

Have a great day/night!

Yep, I think we were typing the same time. As long as you have no heat, all is good. Again, a stock FNR is not able to reliably pass the current of a beefed up controller, motor, or even bigger tires.

ScottyB used to sell HD cams (dunno if he still does), which is where the thicker bus bars are located, in case you're pushing your buggy harder than two people playing golf, which allows things to cool between holes. Once a stock FNR overheats, it's too late for a HD cam.

My Internet died for a while. Just got it back. Anyway, I wasn't sure if you are pushing your cart beyond stock conditions, or if your FNR is HD.

Thanks Yurtle. The clays car has bigger tires and is lifted. It does not have beefed up controller or motor. I will check original switch to see if it had thicker bus bars.
