Default Bad axle bearing or brake hub?

2005 Ezgo TXT making the crackling noise when going around corners and sometimes straight. Replaced the axle bearing today. Was fine for a while now making the noise again. My question is....

Bad axle bearing out of the box so replace again?

Perhaps a bad brake hub?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks and stay safe!

Take the brake drum off, put the wheel back on and take it for a ride?

I believe this is an impossible scenario; removing the brake drum also removes the studs to mount the wheel to. At least that's how my 5 txt carts are built.

You are correct Impossible for me to do. No way to mount the wheel.
