Got all the parts over the past few days. Got around to putting things in today.

How's this for fun? Ring gear on the diff wouldn't mesh with the reduction gear. Counted teeth... 24 v 26.

The old "output" gear wasn't trashed on the old intermediate. Just the big gear. A little heat, some quality time in the press and 'Viola!

Except the new big "input'' gear has two slots for roll pins and the old one has only one groove. Problem?

Thank goodness I have a milling machine and a dividing head. ******.

They dont slip even without a pin. You'll be fine.

Yeah... maybe...probably...

YOu missed the point that I have a mill. <grins>

Now I have two slots in the shaft.

Things are back together and working flawlessly.
