Default 12v Reducer from scottie b

Yep, lol I have questions today.
My Veego reducer arrived today, I'm trying to decide on the best location to mount it. I know we want to keep the wiring as short as possible. Are you guys mounting it under the seat? Different location? There's room in the area where the controller is, but not really any drilling spots for mounting. 3m tape to the sides? 2013 ezgo txt 48v.

I installed mine on the opposite side from the controller.

Thanks, yeah I was looking at that area too, just wasn't sure running the + and - wires that far would cause problems or not.

I put mine in front the controller box, then I put the fuse block on the opposite side fender well, I left the battery tray open on the other side in case I go to 42v.

My solenoid is mounted below the controller on my cart.

There isn’t enough current going to that converter to worry about wiring length, in fact there’s less current going to it at 36 or 48 volts than there is coming out of it at 12 volts.
Just use decent size wire. 12-gauge is probably plenty.
