Default Workhorse- Need Advice

This is my first post to this forum, so please bear with me.

I was offered the Workhorse below. I can buy it for $2300 and I feel confident that is a good price. I would be helpful if some of you "experts" give me feedback on the price.
Here are the specs:
2003, 11hp Robins with 148hrs. on the motor, and a hydrolic lift bed. Everything is original.

How hard is it to install a rear seat? I plan on removing the bed and lift system and selling the parts. I have not found any posts that seem to have a solution to this problem. Will any of the kits fit the workhorse?

Thank you in advance,

Britt

Don't do it
These carts are designed for work . They ride like a truck... And the world needs all of these carts it can find. Now, go find any TXT and put a rear seat on it whoohoo IMO P.S. There is a void when the rear seat is put on these longer carts that is between the 2 seats.... It just isn't made for it. Maybe that's why you didn't find andy threads on it.....

Thanks for the info Scotty,
I am aware of the void between the seats. I have planned on installing DTP across the entire opening below the seat. I did see one very nice build that you commented on frequently that had an installed rear seat. I have been told by numerous people that a rear seat install can be done, but it takes some fabrication to make it happen. I am trying to ID which seat kit to buy and the time required to install it.

I plan on using this cart at my hunting camp and in our neighborhood, so having a more HD cart WITH a rear seat is appealing to me.

Thanks again,

Britt

If you are using it to hunt just get some life saver throw cushions for when you need them.

Cushman 2200 is the same as an EZGO 1200.

GREAT price for that cart - I agree with Scotty, It would be a SHAME to pull the bed off for a rear seat. Why not do something like I did below? I've made several types of rear seats for the Workhorse beds...

Thank you Mike. I haven't given that much thought. What type of seat did you use? That seems to be something that would work for my kids, but I am not so sure about adults.

Any other ideas?

Turn the seat around for adults. There are many options - Anything can be made

I just hate to see a perfectly good Workhorse get canabolized for a 4 passenger

Here is my delima,

The owner is wanting to trade this cart for my 4 wheeler (listed for $2300). My original intention was to buy a PDS cart when my atv sold and then start building how I really want it. i have not had a lot of hits on the atv and this seems to be a good deal. So I guess my options are to add a fold down rear seat (my wife and I really don't want to do the seat in the bed), buy the cart and leave it alone or pass on the opportunity (keep an atv that I don't use that much).

I think the smart thing is to buy the cart.

What would you do?

Thanks for your help,

Britt
